I will speak to you today about an exposure which takes place with the Arthaud Bookshop and devoted to works of Nout Lequen:

Nout Lequen was born Dutch parents, but always lived in France. It currently lives in Meylan (Isere). It is the first time that it exposes in Grenoble. As of the moment when one arrives Rabot room, one enters the world of Nout Lequen. The artist makes a success of, through paintings, but also of drawings, to make pass its felt, by the forms used, the colors employed, the way of expressing itself. It is partly abstract, partly figurative. Imagination does not have any evil to establish the link, to supplement what is suggested, to see what is shown. It can be an environment, a place, one recreated moment.

In each one of its works, Nout Lequen put a share of itself there, it hides there and reveals itself there at the same time. It is all in subtlety, smoothness and delicacy. Its paintings are at the same time instinctive and considered, unexplainable and explainable, merry and sad, incisors and all in reserve, they are moments, emotions, moments, an addition of what it is. It is an artist whose feelings and emotions show through in each one of its works.
